Company History
Universal Brands International was established in 2001 by Alister McEwen and Sally & Dennis Miller who saw a need in the market to create bath and skin care products that WOWed the customer with design, quality and price.
Alister McEwen is Universal Brands International’s Managing Director.
With over 22 years retail buying and sourcing experience he is always
on the look out for new and exciting opportunities and market places.
Sally and Dennis Miller are Universal Brands International’s Graphic Designers, with over 20 years experience covering a diverse range of
areas from concept design and development, advertising and photography, to licensed products and FMCG packaging design.
Universal Brands International has achieved many milestones including,
in 2004, opening our Shenzhen office to better service our customers in the Northern Hemisphere. In 2005, receiving our first order from Wal-Mart USA, in 2006, Wal-Mart Canada and in 2007 receiving our first order to supply the European market.
Today Universal Brands International employs a dedicated team in Australia and China involved in core activities such as brand management, product development, logistics and sales. Universal Brands International is now supplying leading FMCG retailers in the USA, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
